Quick And Easy Mini Naan Breads.

I was sceptical of this recipe at first, but they really have become a firm favourite. They are light and fluffy and compliment any curry or soup. They make great pizza bases, too! Just add 1 teaspoon garlic powder.


Ingredients: 200g White Self Raising Flour 2 teaspoon, level Nigella Seeds (or black onion seeds) 125ml Diet Lemonade 4 sprays Calorie controlled cooking spray


Instructions:

  1. Sift the flour into a large bowl, season with salt and pepper, then add the black onion seeds.

  2. Make a well and add the sugar-free lemonade then mix so you have a stiff, smooth dough. Shape into 4 rounds, each about 12cm in diameter.

  3. Heat a small pan and mist with cooking spray. Add one round of dough and cook for 1 minute, until puffed up and brown. Mist the top side of the bread with cooking spray, flip it over and cook for 1 minute. Repeat with the other rounds and serve warm.
